Obedience Training
Our obedience program is suitable for most large breed dogs whether they will be gun dogs or simply companions. We collar condition all of our dogs to sit, here, and heel. The basic obedience program takes about 4-6 weeks to complete depending on the dog. We encourage getting the owners involved by setting up weekly appointments so you can learn along with your dog. Learning the correct commands and appropriate corrections are very important in building an obedient relationship with your dog.

Gun Dog Training
All of our gun dogs also go through the
obedience program mentioned above along
with being force fetched during the collar
conditioning phase. Once the dog is through
force fetch we begin on marks in the field
with live birds. We simulate walks
with planted live birds and set up hunt test
scenarios daily. At this stage your
dog will also begin his/her waterwork.
We have a 2 acre pond on site at our
kennel and also have access to various
training ponds in the area. An average
gun dog training program lasts around 3 months or
longer depending on your desired training level,
such as blind retrieves and hand signals.
